How the hell your wife makes $70k a year is unbelievable to me. I'grand in the health intendance profession and I've never met a BSN who works in her field make that depression peculiarly with experience. Either she works one to days a calendar week or chooses to work for a lesser salary for what always reason.
The thread is being derailed, but two nurses with no kids who manage their money well tin easily afford the situation listed in this thread, although I don't call up it's the wisest pick. But hey many people do weird things for their passion, no one hither is entitled to estimate simply I guess you're entitled to an opinion.
No idea why the pay has been so poor here in the Dallas suburbs and where we lived before in Tucson, AZ. I'm certain it has to do with the cost of living, every bit she fabricated more when she was a new grad in Canada (she grew up by Toronto) and also when we lived in Seattle in 2009. She works for one of the well known healthcare companies here and has been rather disappointed with their base of operations pay rate. She works full fourth dimension, three 12+ hr shifts, and believe me it is not by choice. She is an first-class nurse and easily deserves being paid 20k+ more.
I do believe you hit the nail on the head as far as information technology non being the wisest pick, simply then once more perhaps they accept a huge inheritance, won the lottery, accept other sources of income.
